About Dr John Yam


Dr John Yam is a senior obstetrician and gynaecologist trained in Singapore, with postgraduate experience at NUH and KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital. He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (London) and a Fellow of several professional bodies, including the Academy of Medicine Singapore.

An active educator and researcher, Dr Yam has published widely in scientific journals and contributed to multiple medical textbooks. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at the Duke–NUS Graduate Medical School and is a longstanding trainer for the Regional MRCOG Part II examination course.

His clinical interests include minimally invasive gynaecological surgery and comprehensive pregnancy care, with a focus on labour and fetal monitoring.
